Delete your data
You can ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you at any time, and you do not have to give a reason. This page explains exactly how, what happens next, and how to cut off a connected Instagram, WhatsApp or YouTube account yourself.
How to ask
Send us the request
Email vvcomputerservices1@gmail.com with the subject Data deletion request. Tell us which account or information you mean — the phone number, email address, Instagram handle or YouTube channel we hold it against. You can also call +91 8008562233 or ask in the shop.
We confirm it is you
We will reply to check we are speaking to the right person before deleting anything. This protects you: without it, anyone could delete someone else's records. We ask for the least that will settle it, and nothing more sensitive than the information being deleted.
We delete it, within 30 days
We remove or de-identify the information we are not legally required to keep, and confirm to you when it is done. Anything retained for a legal reason — tax and accounting records, for example — is named in the reply, along with when it will be deleted.
Disconnecting a connected account
If you connected an Instagram, WhatsApp, YouTube or Google account to one of our services, you can revoke our access yourself, without waiting for us:
- Instagram and WhatsApp — in Meta's Accounts Centre, under the apps and websites section, remove V V Computer Services.
- YouTube and Google — at Google account permissions, remove access for V V Computer Services.
Revoking access stops us making any further requests to that account. It does not by itself delete information we already hold, so send the deletion request above as well if that is what you want.
What we delete, and what we must keep
We delete the account record, contact details, message and conversation history, uploaded media, automation rules and lists, and any stored access tokens for connected platforms.
A few things we are obliged to keep for a period: invoices and payment records, which tax and accounting law requires us to retain, and security logs needed to investigate fraud or abuse. Backups are overwritten on their normal cycle rather than edited, so a copy may persist in a backup for a short time after deletion before being permanently overwritten.
